Aspen

Aspen was born in Heidelberg, Germany, and moved around many times during her childhood and young adulthood before ultimately settling down in Smithville, Tennessee. From a young age, she developed a deep passion for helping and caring for living beings, especially those who are helpless. Her compassion and dedication led her to start volunteering at animal shelters and rescue organizations when she was just 14 years old. This early experience inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine, where she could make a meaningful difference in the lives of animals. 

Aspen eagerly joined Blue Oasis in September of 2024, seeking opportunities for professional growth, improved medical practices, and a workplace that emphasizes fear-free handling techniques. She has a particular fondness for feline patients, though she also loves working with dogs, finding joy in caring for all animals.

Now residing in Smithville, Tennessee, Aspen lives with her boyfriend Joe and their beloved pets: two dogs named Tank and Scoots, and seven cats named Paka, Parker, Poe, Simba, Tansy, Patty, and Sammy. In her free time, she enjoys expressing her creativity through drawing, exploring the outdoors by kayaking, playing video games, and spending quality time with her furry family members.
