Pet Nurse
Nurse Leah was born in Arlington, Texas, and raised in Franklin, Tennessee. Her passion for animal care began at a young age, influenced by the special bond she felt with animals, which propelled her to pursue a career dedicated to the well-being of pets. Currently, Leah resides in Mount Juliet, where she continues to foster her love for animals and enrich the lives of both pets and their owners.
Since 2007, Leah has gained valuable experience working with animals in various capacities. Throughout her career, she has developed a profound understanding of the unique needs of pets and the emotional connections they share with their families. Her commitment to the human animal bond led her to join Blue Oasis Pet Hospital. Leah is a strong advocate for Fear Free, believing it creates a more positive environment for pets during veterinary visits. The fear-free philosophy is not only beneficial for pets but also alleviates stress for pet parents, allowing for a more harmonious experience overall.
Nurse Leah is Fear Free Certification Elite, showing how she continuously seeks to expand her knowledge and skills in fear-free techniques and handling, helping to ensure that every interaction with animals is compassionate and stress-free.
Outside of work, Leah enjoys spending time by the lake and kayaking with her stepdaughter, Rosalee, and her son, Taron.
