Dr. Mackenzie Haines was born in Germany and bounced around the United States for many years due to her family’s military background before they finally planted roots in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
She earned her B.S. in Biology from Western Kentucky University. She attended Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, where she developed special interests in dermatology, internal medicine, and preventative care. She earned her Fear-Free certification in veterinary school. Additionally, she completed courses in small animal acupuncture from Chi University to become a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA).
Dr. Haines moved to Nashville after graduating from veterinary school, and currently lives with her fiancé, Kody, their two dogs, Bastion and Winnie, and their cat, Harlowe. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, and trying new restaurants around Nashville with her friends and Kody.
